Sthlm Time Drawings

Following the own memory and interpretations of Stockholm, one can imagine a personal cityscape, only true to the self. What would this city of imagination look like in relation to time? Would it form a contemporary structure of architecture or is it just nostalgia stuck on repeat inside of ones mind?

What is a time drawing?…

Floor Plan Battle

Together with fellow architect and teammate Benjamin Tolis, we entered the non-architecture competition: “Call for ideas - Floor Plan Battle #2“. Within 48 hours, one were supposed to produce one (and only one) plan drawing from only the theme of “Inclusive Parliaments“.
Our submission, Circuitry of virtual democracy, was later announced as one of 7 “Honorable mentions” listed together with the winner, editorial picks and finalists among the many other contributors of the competition.

“Architecture is a story”

A process which begins on the drawing table, evolving into built form and further from alterations. It is therefore in constant motion throughout its lifetime, evolving with architects, seasons, weather and residents. Changes like these are impossible to predict, yet we know that they will nonetheless become a considerable part of its character. A character not only defined by its initial drawings, nor its built results or final form of ruins. Architecture lies ultimately defined in the space in-between, represented in the constant story of aging, reappropriation and uncompromising uncertainty.
