Straws.

A small conceptual project where I was asked to give shape to a structure in connection with Slussen, Stockholm through small scale model building.

My idea behind this “pipe cube” was to put focus on the vast tunnel systems buried deep beneath all of Södermalm together with the subway. I chose black soda straws to imitate the smaller steel pipes and clear acrylic pipes to characterize the four train tracks.

It was a fast paced assignment where the results had to be submitted in a week. This is the result.
